Over the years, with the support and cooperation of leaders at all levels of schools and colleges, we have successfully completed various practical training tasks for students with quality and quantity guaranteed.

1) Undertake metalworking practice tasks for students from all units of the school. The number of students who practice is about 41 classes and nearly 1200 students every year, with a duration of 2-5 weeks. Ensure the quality of practice according to the requirements of the teaching syllabus of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.

2) Undertake numerical control practice, production practice and other tasks in the training plan for students majoring in mechanism in Mechanical Engineering College. Every year, about 90 students of this major are accepted to go to the factory for practical training in NC machine tool programming, operation, product design and development.

3) The on-site teaching of 9 courses related to mold design and manufacturing is about 22 class hours, about 600 person times.

4) It undertakes two experimental projects of two experimental courses (mold disassembly and analysis of the three coordinate measurement plastic mold design course based on interchangeability and measurement technology), teaching about 65 class hours and about 550 person times.

5) Provide activity base and technical support for mold innovation design studio, and provide technical and site support for "Mechanical Design Competition, 3D Digital Modeling Competition, Challenge Cup Competition, Product Modeling Design Competition", etc.

6) Training for mold direction and NC direction personnel inside and outside the school, undertaking the training tasks for "NC technologists" and "mold engineers" inside and outside the school undertaken by Dalian University, and ensuring the training quality according to national requirements.

7) Assist teachers to complete the curriculum design and graduation design for students in the mold direction, with about 60 person times per year.

8) Cooperate with the teachers of Mechanical Engineering College to set up the second class at the production site. Our engineering technicians undertake 2-6 class hours of auxiliary teaching tasks for each course in 5-7 professional (basic) courses.

9) It is the activity base of the "CAD/CAM/CAPP/CAE" and "Mold Design" innovation studios of the College of Mechanical Engineering, and provides technical, venue and financial support for "Mechanical Design Competition, 3D Digital Modeling Competition, Challenge Cup Competition, Product Modeling Design Competition", etc. Let students benefit from our systematic practical training, have certain factory processing experience, experience the factory enterprise culture, and occupy autonomy in job selection, rather than passive employment, so as to improve the employment probability.
